Our psychic of the month for August is Sonya Fitzpatrick. You may already be familiar with Mrs. Fitzpatrick as she was the star of the Animal Planet television show the Pet Psychic. Her experience with reality TV was a harsh one as her small screen fame was somewhat short lived. The program only aired for two seasons in 2002-2003 and was summarily cancelled by the network. The former television personality continues her psychic work with animals today which she chronicles on her website. She makes regular appearances at workshops and seminars and has authored several books. Sonya also hosts a weekly call in show Sunday evenings from 5-7 PM on Sirius XM satellite radio called Animal Intuition. She provides pet communication sessions to a long list of clients, many Hollywood celebrities like Ellen Degeneres and Mariah Carey included.
Sonya Fitzpatrick describes herself as the worlds most respected and trustworthy animal communicator or pet psychic. Her decades of experience in the field is practically unmatched. She says she first discovered her psychic connection with animals at an early age while growing up on a farm in England. A congenital hearing condition caused her to withdraw from society as a child. She found it easier to communicate with animals than with humans as a little girl. Her discovery that she had a special gift with animals was the result of an illness her family dog suffered during her childhood. Sonya believes that she could feel her pet’s pain within her own body. It was then that she claims to have discovered that she had something going on that no one else she knew had, the ability to communicate directly with the minds of animals.
Sonya did not always pursue her pet psychic powers in her career. She attended fashion school and spent many years involved in Europe’s clothing industry. After a move to the United States, she had a major psychic revelation in 1994 and began to reconnect with her childhood gift. It was then that she began to help others by communicating with their pets. Sonya mainly uses her psychic powers to modify the behavior of animals. Think the Pet Whisperer meets the Beast Master. But unlike her television counterpart Cesar Millan, Sonya doesn’t produce her amazing results through reading the body language of a pet and by following that up with a large dose of animal training. Sonya clearly exhibits powers that show she can speak with animals. She also has the ability to communicate with passed pets. Much of her television work was centered around connecting owners with their deceased four legged loved ones.
In the above video taken from her YouTube channel, Sonya and her young psychic friend Emily discuss how to communicate with your pets. They explain how animals speak to them by sending images and feelings telepathically. Both claim that animals can speak very easily if you know how to receive information from them. They suggest that you begin by sitting quietly in a room alone with your pet. When the two of you are in a calm and peaceful state, ask your dog or cat a series of questions. Clear your mind of anything else and meditate on their reactions. I’m not sure this video is going to let you become your own pet psychic or anything but it is interesting to hear Sonya discuss how her gift actually works.
While I consider this to be fairly expensive, the Pet Psychic does offer personal readings by phone for the rate of $300 for a 30 minute session. There are certainly cheaper pet psychics out there that you can easily hire. But if you have that kind of money in your life and wish to reach out to a deceased pet, maybe you should give it a shot. If you have a sick or dying animal that is about to enter the rainbow bridge, being able to communicate with them through Sonya Fitzpatrick may well be worth the money she charges for those types of sessions. Many less expensive pet psychics can offer similar services but come without the decades of experience in animal communication.
Does Sonya Fitzpatrick actually communicate with animals? Have you hired a pet psychic yourself? Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
