You probably already have an idea of what astral travel is if you’re reading this article, but would like to learn more about it. More importantly, you want to know more about how to take this cosmic trip to other dimensions. Theoretical physicists posit that different dimensions exist simultaneously. So it’s not just new age gurus such as myself who believe that such things are possible. But unlike scientists, I have experienced traveling to these other planes of existence first-hand, and I’m about to teach you how you can take this trip with me.
First of all, through astral projection, you can go anywhere, whether it’s to an alternative reality or Moscow. Essentially, you are projecting your soul–that ball of conscious energy inside and all around your physical form–whilst you sleep. If you think traveling to the Bahamas on a cruise ship was exciting, then you are in for a wild ride, my friend.
What You’ll Need
- Headphones with noise-cancellation features
- MP3 player or smartphone
- A quiet room with a comfortable bed
Before anything else, make sure you are not exhausted or have a mind filled with cluttered thoughts. If you’re overly tired, you’ll simply sleep through the night. When you practice astral projection, you must have mental clarity and ultra-focus at the conscious level, because you will be trying to break the wall that divides the conscious part of your brain and the subconscious part.
Secondly, play this on your smartphone or MP3 player (you can find free YouTube audio downloaders online):
These are called binaural beats. The process works by emitting sounds in two different frequencies that create a third signal which your brain fills in. These frequencies will allow you to enter into a certain kind of mental state. This is important in assisting you melt the conscious and subconscious parts of your brain.
Next, lay down in bed, on your back, and put on your headphones. Play the binaural beat soundtrack and close your eyes. Concentrate on your breathing: inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Don’t think about anything; not grocery lists or errands or personal problems. Just focus on your breathing. You will slowly fall into slumber.
You know that moment right when you’re about to fall asleep but you jerk back into your consciousness at the last second? That is the small opening in the window towards astral projection. You want to go to sleep slowly, but retain your focus and consciousness. Sound difficult? It is and you will fail a hundred times before you master astral projection. I’m just being realistic, because I don’t want you to get discouraged and give up.
Tip: While laying in bed with your headphones on, imagine yourself getting up off the bed, walking towards your room’s light switch, and switching the it on (assuming it was off in the first place). Repeat this over and over again. One night, you’ll open you eyes and see your light turned on. If that happens, you’ll know that you’re closer to mastering astral projection.
With enough practice and determination, you will be on your astral sojourn in no time.
