Hi, my name is Peter Menkin. This is my own personal website where I like to discuss all things psychic, mystical and otherwise. So, pretty much anything that I find interesting. I’m a third generation psychic born to a family of Russian immigrants that settled in rural South Carolina during the early 1800’s. I continue to call South Carolina my home today where I work for various law enforcement agencies in states across the South as a psychic investigator. I often provide pro bono assistance to families with missing or murdered relatives. I enjoy writing about my work and other things that interest me. I am passionate about sharing the knowledge that I have gained through my own Psychic pursuits.
I live just outside of Columbia, SC with my wife Sarah. The low cost of living available in South Carolina has allowed both of us to pursue our life’s callings and truest passions. I work cold cases for agencies from Virginia to Texas. Sarah is highly involved in the local art scene. It may seem like an unlikely place for a psychic and an artist to call home but we truly love it here. It’s a great place to raise a family and we are currently working on having our first child.
I did not choose to have this awesome power but have come to embrace it over the years. My father Phillip Menkin worked as a psychic and as his father Petrov Menkin did before him. Gravitating to this type of work was quite normal and I was encouraged to follow the family footsteps at a very young age. I was very intuitive as a child. I had my first major prediction at only the age of seven. It was during this time that I learned I could feel my own pain well before any actual physical injury had occurred. I was involved in a horrible bicycle wreck that left me with major scarring on my arms, legs and face. For weeks before the accident, I experienced a sense of foreboding and grew comfortable with my injury before it occurred.
As I continued to explore my abilities, I found that while it was easy for me to feel my own pain that it was extremely difficult to replicate this experience for others. Mainly, this is due to how information comes to me. Feeling my own pain is relatively easy. Sensing the pain of others is extremely complicated. I have learned to focus my power like a laser into the past. My experience of pain is far more powerful in its connection working backwards. And I am able to feel pain that has previously occurred decades and sometimes centuries into the past.
My psychic powers have been a tremendous blessing in my life. I love what I do for a living and feel I am truly making a difference in the criminal justice system. There is no better feeling I get than through helping the families of missing relatives find a sense of closure. Even when the facts of the psychic investigation don’t always lead to the results they were after, it is truly rewarding work.
I have no plans to make money from readers here on the blog. That is simply not what this is about. Nor do I intend to solicit clients for psychic readings or anything like that. I enjoy writing about things I have experienced in my life and am happy to respond to any and all comments or questions asked as part of this online conversation about psychic phenomenon. I am often contacted concerning the acceptance of donations. That is not something that I participate in.
My father is in a late stage of Alzheimer’s with an aggressive case of Dementia to boot. This has been a tremendous burden and an immense challenge for our entire family. By all means feel free to make any small donation to the Alzheimer’s Association if you have read something here that has helped you personally and you’d like to contribute to a cause. You can do so in the name of my father, Phillip Menkin. Also, feel free to donate to any charity of your choice instead should you prefer.
Thanks so much for coming to PeterMenkin.com. I appreciate you stopping by my little blog and checking out what I have to say here. May the our universe bless you to the fullest extent that the cosmos will allow.
